Registration Cancellation & Refund Policy
At AYSO Region 158, we understand that plans can change. To ensure clarity, we have established a straightforward refund policy for our recreational programs. Please review the details below to understand your options regarding registration cancellations and refunds.
What is the refund policy before team formation?
If you request a refund before teams are finalized and rosters are released, you will receive a full refund of the Regional Registration fee.What if my player is on a waitlist?
Players who are placed on a waitlist and cannot be assigned to an active team roster will receive a 100% full refund.What happens after team formation?
Once team rosters are finalized (for ages 6U–19U) or after Opening Weekend for Kickstart programs, no refunds will be issued as team spots and volunteer allocations are locked.Are there any non-refundable fees?
The $25 AYSO National Player Membership Fee and any third-party merchant transaction fees are non-refundable. This fee provides year-round supplemental player accident insurance valid across all AYSO programs through July 31st.What about uniforms?
Uniforms ordered through the Flite Sports team store are subject to Flite Sports' individual return/cancellation policy once production begins.

How much playing time will my child get?
Every player who arrives on time and ready to play is guaranteed at least half of each match. Coaches rotate players so everyone sits equally before anyone sits twice.When will the coach reach out to us?
Coaches receive rosters 2–3 weeks before the first game and will contact families directly through the PlayMetrics app.Can we request a specific coach or teammate?
Requests are considered for younger divisions when registration deadlines allow. Older teams are balanced by skill to ensure fair and safe play.What equipment does my player need?
Players should bring shin guards, the correct size soccer ball, cleats without baseball-style spikes, a water bottle, and their official match jersey on game days.What happens if the weather is bad?
Games continue in light rain. If fields are unsafe or there is lightning, updates will be posted by 3:30 PM on weekdays or 7:00 AM on Saturdays.
