Coaching certifications at AYSO Region 158 are tailored to age groups, combining online and in-person training to equip volunteers with the skills needed for effective team leadership and player development.
6U & 8U Coach: Fully online courses focus on early childhood development, basic motor skills, and managing small-sided games to build foundational soccer skills.
10U Coach: Combines online learning with a hands-on field clinic emphasizing 7v7 formations and the Build-Out Line to enhance tactical understanding.
12U Coach: In-person clinic centered on 9v9 positional play, technical passing drills, and defensive team strategies to prepare coaches for intermediate-level competition.
Intermediate (14U) & Advanced (19U): Advanced coaching licenses aligned with USSF standards, covering tactical game management, system principles, and player development strategies.
