Registration & Refunds

Registration covers full participation in all league events. Refunds are granted only before teams are finalized. Late registrations may be accepted if space permits; early enrollment is recommended.

Uniforms & Equipment

Parent order a uniform from Flite Sports thru our uniform store. Shin guards worn beneath socks and soccer cleats without metal spikes are mandatory. Dress in layers to adjust for weather; coaches may cancel sessions if conditions are unsafe.

Sideline Guidelines

Support all players with positive encouragement. Sideline coaching is prohibited. Show respect to referees, especially youth officials, by offering encouragement rather than criticism.

Volunteer Expectations

AYSO relies entirely on volunteers. Training is provided for coaches and referees. Team roles include manager, snack coordinator, and field setup, all essential for smooth operations.

Code of Conduct

We follow AYSO’s six philosophies emphasizing respect, balanced teams, and positive coaching. Bullying and misconduct are strictly prohibited to maintain a safe environment.

Referee Abuse & Zero Tolerance

Abuse toward referees or participants results in penalties including ejection and suspension. Respect for officials is mandatory; all incidents are documented and addressed promptly.

Scholarships and Discounts

  • Are scholarships available?

    Yes! AYSO Region 158 offers scholarships to families who qualify for free or reduced lunch programs. We believe that no child should miss out on the joy of soccer due to financial constraints. If you need assistance, please reach out to our Treasurer at treasurer@ayso158.org and fill out the confidential form.

  • Is there a military discount?

    Absolutely! Active-duty servicemen and servicewomen are eligible for a family discount. We appreciate your service and want to support your family's involvement in our programs.

  • What is the refund policy?

    Refund requests can be made by emailing registrar@ayso158.org. Please note that registrations before the deadline incur a $35 non-refundable fee. Full refunds are available if teams are not yet formed, and wait-listed registrations will be fully refunded if canceled before assignment. After team formation, no refunds are available for 6U–19U or for Playground/Schoolyard after the opening weekend.

  • How long does it take to process refunds?

    Refunds are typically processed within one week to the original payment method, ensuring a smooth experience for our families.
